About the Author: Tristan Titeux

Tristan was born in 1976 in Paddington, London, then spent the first 13 years in Belgium on the edge of a village close to nature. He lived in a beautiful house made of flint stone with two wood fires, no central heating, TV or fridge just one single cold tap in the kitchen. His dad spoke about wild plants on the radio for many years, and used to feed his family from wild mushrooms and plants in the wild, his garden, bees, goats, chickens. Tristan's time growing up with his dad in Belgium cemented his relationship with nature. Today Tristan lives in London and in 2011 decided to offer an eco friendly option to his fitted furniture clients. Tristan now feels it is his mission to carry on making use of what his dad taught him and do what he can to educate the World about the environmental injustices currently happening all over the World.

About Tristan Titeux

I was born in 1976 in London Paddington, a few months later I moved to Belgium with my parents and stayed there for 13 years. I lived close to nature on the edge of a village, surrounded by forests, fields, fruit orchards and quarries. We had our own goats, poultry, bees and garden where my dad grew our food, he also took me on mushroom picking trips, we also harvested wild plants to eat and cure ourselves with. My dad had a slot every Sunday on national radio for years, talking about wild plants, until he was thrown off for being too political. I feel like I have been given the duty to carry on what he used to stand for. I don't talk about wild plants myself, but I talk about furniture and everything that affects it. I hope you gain from reading my blogs and that they help you find happiness in your life. Tristan Titeux

Here you will find all sort of posts, pictures and videos, all my thoughts and opinions related to Sustainable Ethical Fitted Furniture and eco materials suitable to build fitted furniture.

Even if not yet fully understood by many, Ecological Sustainability is now a mainstream subject, companies have started to see that it is possible to make money out of preserving our planet in order for our children to be able to enjoy the clean and healthy future they are entitled to have.

Individual people are now more informed about the subject of sustainability and therefore are now looking for healthy and natural alternatives to materials and techniques that waste raw virgin material and make us ill with all their chemical makeup.

I hope that you enjoy my blog wich includes everything from the physical elements of contemporary, bespoke eco fitted furniture as well as all it's related issues, there is more to fitted furniture than the furniture itself, it as part of a whole ecosystem.
